Astrology Meets Myers-Briggs
I’ve known lots of INFPs and INFJs, and the one common denominator that unites them in their misery is low-energy.
Low energy is when you can’t move a muscle. Just the thought of physically exerting yourself makes you feel your energy draining away. And there is nothing you can think of that would give you energy in a low-energy state except doom-scrolling on the internet, or maybe eating a donut.
It is typical of INFJ INFP to approach love like it will save them from their bad or mediocre lives. They have rescue fantasies. They think <<If I just had that person, my life would take off, I would be happy and complete>>.
But the way attraction works is that you can only attract more of the same. It’s called the <<The Reality Cycle>> in Law of Attraction literature.
In my experience, I have seen a lot of INFP women who think they are INFJs — a lot. That’s the most common mistype in my long experience consulting with people.
However, if a woman is truly an INFP, but following INFJ advice, she is going to be led subtly off-path, get stuck, and not know what the problem is, nor how to fix it.
There’s a quiet assumption behind most relationships:
That if the feeling is strong enough, everything else will follow.
For idealistic types like INFJ and INFP, they take this to the maximum limit.
But this is where things start to go wrong.
So we got our lady who wouldn’t leave. The lady is poor.
Why is she poor?
Because she has placed all her value into another person.
Her solution?
Run to the land of the rich.
