Dear INFJ INFP: Are You Compatible With Yourself?

It is typical of INFJ INFP to approach love like it will save them from their bad or mediocre lives. They have rescue fantasies. They think <<If I just had that person, my life would take off, I would be happy and complete>>.

But the way attraction works is that you can only attract more of the same. It’s called the <<The Reality Cycle>> in Law of Attraction literature.

If your life is bad or mediocre chances are you are doing something you are not compatible with. You’re in the wrong career or the wrong environment. You can’t attract a person that is above the level you are at. How do you break the cycle?

How do you attract a person that is better than your life?

By being compatible with yourself.

MBTI and astrology are wonderful for spotlighting exactly what you are compatible with, and I don’t mean compatible in a lukewarm sense, I mean compatible in a stellar <<knock the ball out of the fucking park>> sense.

Most things are a mediocre fit for INFJ INFP people. There are a few things that are terrible fits, and there are a few things that are stellar fits.

In order to find your soulmate, you have to first find your stellar fit in career. Or if not career, a preoccupation or hobby.

What do you like doing so much that you do it whether you get paid for it or not? What are you so good at that people around you tell you you are really good at that? This will turn you on, and therefore, turn other people on.

For INFJ INFP this will be predictable. INFJ INFP are really good at psychology, philosophy, art, and relationships.

Your dominant planet

We have this thing known as the dominant planet in astrology. In your astro chart you can find it usually, but it’s easier to find it by first knowing what MBTI type you are, then from there, finding the particular brand of your MBTI type. This gives you the ability to specialize in a niche of the things your MBTI type is good at.

But it also tells you how you are compatible with your own life. If you aren’t doing the things of your dominant planet, then you will not be in a stellar fit for your life, simple as that.

And you won’t find your soulmate, and you won’t be happy. But you won’t be happy because you aren’t happy in and of yourself, not because you aren’t with Mr. or Miss Perfect Person.

None of them would have been famous if they hadn’t done the brand of INFJ that worked for them.

Step into your star

The same is true for you dear INFJ and INFP. If you are having problems in your life, the quickest way to clear it up is get in your star. I call it stepping into your star. Once you step into your star you are in a stellar fit for your own life and MBTI type.

That’s the first step: Knowing your true MBTI type, and then knowing the specialization of that MBTI type to your own life.

Then, you must DO the things that correspond to that dominant planet. It’s sorta like cultivating a look. You might be dressed all wrong to play the leading part in your life. You might be surrounded by furniture and people that aren’t the right fit for your life. You might dress wrong for your dominant role. You might have the wrong style. And therefore, how can you attract the right person into your life with the wrong persona?

You don’t get to choose your style. You can’t be Brad Pitt if you’re an INFJ INFP. You can’t be Xena the Warrior Princess.

Be The Best You Can Be

Everyone has different potentials, some people have more potential than others, but for who you are, with however much potential you have, what is the best you can be? The answer to that is your MBTI type + your dominant planet.

When you are your best self, then you will be in a position to attract the person that is the best you can do. But until you get to that point, you are not going to attract that person. I’m being realistic.

Some people are blessed with attractive qualities, some people not as much. What are your most attractive qualities. Most INFP INFJ people are not interested in physical attraction and tend to downplay it, but it is important to them whether they wish it to be or not. This is a base level factor in attracting your dreamed of person. Because I know they are going to be physically attractive, at the very least. Are you?

I don’t know how realistic everyone here is, but I do know INFJ INFP have a tendency to be unrealistic and dreamy. They rather dream of finding that perfect partner rather than do anything tangible to actually bring it about in their lives. Or they lack confidence when their dreams come up against the hard rocks of reality. And they settle, or muddle along.

But INFJ INFP are only primed for exceptional success or none at all. I know many INFPs muddling along in their lives in this sort of safe and static half-light. They are sort of in the middle. INFJs are even worse, very extreme.

Step into your star. You are an INFJ INFP which means that many many things are not for you. Most things. Most people. Most things are actually terrible fits for INFJ INFP. But there is going to be one thing that is stellar. It’s going to be way better than most things.

What is it? Do you know? Have you experienced enough in your life to know? Are you giving up hope as life and the outer world seem to be getting worse and worse with each passing year? Is time running out?

Are you waiting for the soulmate who is going to save you?

Not gonna happen, bro. First you have to save yourself. And the best way to save yourself is by doing what you are so good at that no one else can compete. It might be something you will have to create…which is generally how it goes for INFJ INFP people.

You will create it in the INFJ INFP ballpark. This means art, entertainment, literature, psychology, the humanities. But what will your brand be? You’re in the general ballpark, but how are you going to be a star player on that field to differentiate yourself from all the other players.

That’s your niche.

Do you know what it is?

For example, Van Gogh was an INFJ. He was a painter. Right there, good fit. That is in the general ballpark for an INFJ. INFJs can be exceptional artists. ESTPs can’t. But what is he known for as an artist?

Dreamy violent landscapes with a concern for poor people and workers. He was a Martian INFJ. I doubt he would have been remembered through the ages if he hadn’t painted with those crude vital strokes.

But then there’s Plutonian INFJs who need sex and death as their theme. Need to dress in black leather like Mr. Mojo Rising
